No strike on Sep 5, 9, 10, 11; UN chalo on Sep 13

Srinagar, Sep 02: Hurriyat Conference led by Syed Ali Geelani has announced its fresh protest chart for 11 days from September 5 to September 15.
According to the calendar issued here Thursday, there will be no strike on September 5 and people have been asked to do shopping for the auspicious night of Shab-e-Qadar.
Complete strike will be observed on September 6, 7 and 8.
People have been urged to stage sit-ins from Fajr to Asr prayers. “People should also offer Zuhr and Asr prayers on roads,” a Hurriyat (G) statement quoting Geelani said.
Strike on September 8 will be observed in solidarity with the prisoners.
There will be no strike from September 9 to 11 in the wake of Arafa and Eid-ul Fitr.
“People should celebrate Eid with austerity as a mark of respect to the youth who sacrificed their lives in the past two months,” Geelani said.
He also urged people to stage peaceful protests after Eid Nimaz.
Complete strike will be observed from September 12 to September 15 with relaxation from 4 pm onwards on September 14.
“People should march towards United Nations office at Sonawar on September 13. Besides, they should stage sit-in from dawn to dusk and offer Zuhr and Asr prayers on roads on September 12 and 14,” the statement quoted Geelani as saying said.
As per the previous protest calendar, there will be no strike on Friday (September 3) while as complete strike would be observed on Saturday (September 4).
