Fire damages four houses, cowshed in Kulgam

Kulgam:

Four families in Kachama village of Kuwparaare rendered homeless after their residential houses were burnt in fire while a cow has also sustained burn injuries in HandiMohalla village of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
As per reports, fire damaged four residential houses and a cowshed in the village.
The local sources informed that a cow that was in the cowshed also sustained burn injuries during the incident.
The Fire and Emergency Services reached the spot and doused the fire.
The houses belonging to Ali Muhammad Wani, Ghulam Hassan Wani, Sajad Ahmad Dar, and GhulamRasoolBhat and a cowshed belonging to Maznoor Ahmad Wani were caught in fire and converted into ashes.
The fire victim families demanded relief from government.
Meanwhile, Member of Parliament (RajyaSabha) Nazir Ahmad Laway also visited the victim families and urged the government to provide relief to the families at the earliest. (With inputs from KNS)
