Exploitation of women in the name of emancipation

Government job is neither necessary nor practically possible for everyone, does that mean those without government jobs don’t have right to marry?

The crime against women shows an exponentially increasing trend because of certain factors including the unnecessary ‘exposure’ of female folk. A woman is safe at home and is susceptible to vulgarity once she steps outside unprotected. Despite her empowerment she continues to be exploited.

Formal employment of women is adding to their miseries instead of solving them. Though it might render them financially independent but that is at the cost of her dignity. Because women employment/earning can be deemed to be forbidden in the current setup where one's employed wife/sister/daughter has to share their prime time with their male counterparts (strangers) all around.  Women are meant for looking after domestic affairs ranging from child care to home management.

They might also work in rare cases but it must be in a totally separate domain where there is almost zero percent access to stranger males. That is possible only under the purview of Islamic Rule which does not exist because in completely separate domains where their chastity is safe, the feminine gender may work in some vital fields like medicine, surgery, education etc.

However, it is a shameful situation for those males who inspite of having sound financial condition, force their wives, daughters, sisters etc. to earn outside their home. Women’s rights have been explained at length in Holy Quran.

But the hypocrites are projecting a distorted image of Muslim interpretation of feminine rights. Women cannot find any better and ideal way of life than Islamic perspective; ranging from a protective and morally hygienic dress code to the kinship.

Women are fragile by nature from physical, physiological, psychological and emotional aspects and their honour/chastity is also very fragile and needs to be protected. And males have to provide this protection. They are equal to men but later is dominant and has to be.

Earning is responsibility of males. In present milieu where filth is spread everywhere, it is unethical to see workaholic ladies in the company of strangers, which is not only against Islam but against humanity also.

Education is their right but earning is not their liability.

A qualified woman can manage the home affairs excellently and grow up her children much better in all aspects, degrees are not for employment purpose only; this is a wrong notion which we as parents, brothers and spouses must bear in mind. Women should be provided their full rights whatever they deserve.

Current era is at the climax of women exploitation in the name of pseudo emancipation, exposure, employment, entrepreneurship and all that. The enemies of Islam (and of humanity , of course) are trying their utmost to bring out ladies folk out of their homes into the market, by adopting various means/jokes like so called emancipation, exposure, self reliance, women rights etc. in fact, the aim of these hypocrites is to easily make her available in the market.

Eve teasing has become order of the day. Co-education menace, monetary incentives and other tactics are used as a tool for this. Unfortunately, the unnatural glamour of a woman is used for profiting in business! In addition to workplaces, there is crime against female folks at domestic level as well which too needs to be looked into seriously.

Crime against women also stems from late (sometimes never!) marriages of youth (both boys and girls). Setting up of unnecessary, unethical, irreligious and unaffordable criteria from both sides is a major hurdle in establishing a healthy matrimonial relationship these days.

Marriage is an important event in human life because it is the most sacred aspect of human relationships and a pre-requisite for continuity of human race on the planet.

Marriage has unfortunately become the costliest affair in one‘s life while waywardness is cheap, easily accessible and common. This is exactly in accordance with the Prophetic saying wherein it has been predicted some 14 centuries ago.

Islam advocates for simple marriages and strongly denounces illegitimate pre and post marital relationships; which is eating away the moral sense of modernised societies. In this part of the world, government job (irrespective of the nature post!) is a pre-requisite for marriage.

Government job is neither necessary nor practically possible for everyone, does that mean those without government jobs don’t have right to marry? It is completely foolish and bizarre on behalf of such parents who compel their sons and daughters to compulsorily wed an employed partner.

Such a rubbish perception must be changed otherwise our society will continue to get inflated with frustrated youth whose depression ultimately ends up in suicides and other crimes. Employment exists beyond government jobs.

It has been observed that most of the workaholic women feel scared while working (i.e., forced earning) in the company of their stranger male counterparts; but having apprehensions of maladjustment/ incompatibility with the filthy society, they prefer to mingle with the morally unhygienic society; because they feel, otherwise they may be rejected from the ‘modern’ world.

These days stress is the result of this imbalanced approach. Though having a good financial position (including income from women earnings) despite both the ‘working partners’ are under a constant intense stress having doubts/apprehensions with regard to each other (the stress ultimately ends in divorces etc.), even small innocent faced kids are highly stressed because of absence of parental care what they really deserve (due to busyness of ‘earning hands’). When grown up, these stressed children translate this anger (stress) into social evils, immoral activities and other crimes.

It is time for all the stake holders to respect women and not to humiliate them by shifting the responsibility of earning on them.

Education is claimed to have changed their lives on newspapers but the menace of dowry, social stigmas, late marriages, castesim, discrimination, negligence, bias etc. are forcing young women to adopt ugliest alternatives in order to carve a ‘dignified’ sphere for them.

As the animal instincts of their male counterparts continue to augment, qualified girls are forced into dirtiest professions by offering/promising lucrative jobs.

If we go on ignoring these harsh realities of the present day society, the dirt will infest the whole setup. Media has a limited access into the real face of women in our society for obvious reasons; most of the cases of domestic and street violence go unnoticed, unregistered and unreported.

A good number of schemes sponsored by the governments are documented on papers ensuring dignified livelihood/financial assistance to poor and needy women folk but the financial and social scavengers present in the rotten system drain these incentives to their lavish needs.

On the other hand, in the name of pseudo emancipation, women are being exploited both in rural and urban areas. Women are seen losing their lives to malnutrition, violence and treatable diseases. Ironically, governments categorise women amongst the weakest sections of human populace while amplifying the noises of women empowerment!

Celebrating women’s days /campaigns should be aimed at making firm resolve to redress their grievances. For establishing a harmonious social atmosphere there can be no other perfect mechanism to clean the dirt than to embrace the ideals of Islamic teachings with regard to women.

If woman is safe and happy, the family is happy and when families become happy it is another name of prosperity.
