DyCM promises Batamaloo traders of timely grievance redressal

 Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh assured the traders who were affected by shifting of Batamaloo bus terminal to Parimpora in the city outskirts that the government would look into their grievances and redress them in a time-bound manner, a government spokesperson said.
In a statement, he said a deputation of Batamaloo Bus-stand Traders Federation called on Singh ‘the other day’.
“The deputation raised several issues relating to their business and other allied activities in view of the shifting of the bus-stand from Batamaloo to Parimpora. They said that a mechanism should be formulated so that their business does not get affected and also raised several other issues,” the statement read.
“The Deputy Chief Minister while interacting with the deputation assured them that their grievances would be looked into and redressed in a time-bound manner,” it read.
“He said that the Government is committed towards the welfare of every section of the society and several schemes have been initiated so that the business and related activities get the requisite fillip.”
