We the residents of Sonerwani area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district request the kind attention of Governor N.N Vohra on a vital road stretch that is in dilapidated conditions. For five years we have been facing serious problems due to the road between Sonerwani to main market Bandipora, which also extends to Gurez valley. The road has always been neglected, firstly by Beacon Roads Organizations and now by the Road and Buildings Department, causing serious incontinence to the inhabitants. We have entreated the concerned authorities many times but every time they balked our demand or paid deaf ears to our problems. The road stretch is about 2kms. The commuters especially employees, students and others are facing hard time as the road takes half an hour to reach the main market. We hope he governor will depute some officials to have a look at the road so that our problem gets resolved.
