Islamabad, Feb 21: A woman died on Saturday when after she developed complications during her visit to a private clinic in Islamabad.
Zeba (45) of Hazratbal, Islamabad visited Alamdar Medicate for treatment, but according to police, her condition got critical after treatment. Seeing her condition worsening she was referred to District Hospital Islamabad where doctors confirmed she was brought dead.
Police have arrested the Dr Suhail Ahmad and clinic owner Shakeel Ahmad Najar until investigations confirm the actual cause of death.
“We have put both of them under arrest and have registered a case against them. The investigation has been initiated into the matter and hopefully justice will be done,” said Deputy SP, Tanveer Jeelani while talking to Rising Kashmir.
The locals protested against the death and were demanding probe into the death.
But the family members of the deceased demanded no postmortem should be conducted on the dead body.
