Borderless World Foundation–Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh (BWF-JKL) in collaboration with Directorate of Health Services Kashmir (DHSK) today conducted a free medical camp at Sub District Hospital Kupwara, wherein more than 150 patients received free medical treatment.
A team of seven doctors working in various leading hospitals of Nasik, Maharashtra have arrived in the Valley for conducting the Medical Camps for the sake of common people, a Foundation statement said.
“The team will conduct more medical camps in District Hospital Pulwama on 15th May 2016 and Sub District Hospital Chanapora on 18th May 2016,” statement said, adding, Borderless World Foundation has been working in the State of Jammu and Kashmir for the welfare of female orphans, women empowerment and health care since 2002.
One of the major works of Borderless World Foundation in the field of Health Care have been the four cardiac and trauma care ambulances that were donated by the organization to the State Government on 21st September 2015 which were launched by the former Chief Minister of State Late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, statement said.
