Army Beating: Hajin observe shutdown

Bandipora: 

A complete shutdown is being observed in Hajin area of district Bandipora on Thursday against the army highhandedness and beating of civilian population.

The Traders Federation has demanded action against the army who vandalized shops, residential houses and public property on Wednesday afternoon after few youth allegedly threw stones on an army patrol in the area.

President Traders Federation Hajin Mushtaq Ahmed Parry told Rising Kashmir that, “It is unfortunate that army damaged shops, houses and public property without any reason. It prompted us to observe a complete shutdown.”

“We had many meetings with army officer earlier who ensured us safety of shoppers and public property but yesterday they acted against what they ensured during the meetings,” Parray said.

Score were injured in army action yesterday after few youth allegedly threw stones on an army patrol.
