After returning from Chandigarh, a group of 47 persons quarantined in a quarantine centre are waiting to return to their homes.
The group which includes 7 women returned from Chandigarh on May 9.
Speaking to media, the persons said that they returned from Chandigarh on May 9 and were quarantined in a quarantine centre in Hotel Standard.
“Our sample tests were taken on May 11, and since then we are waiting for our reports,” said a person who is under quarantined, and added, “When we asked officials about our reports, we don't get any satisfactory answer as we are completing our 14 days isolation period tomorrow.”
The group alleged that many persons were discharged after 8 or 10 days from the quarantine centre.
The group appealed authorities to show reports and discharge them so that they can celebrate Eid with their families. KNS
