11 teams auctioned in HPL-2018

 Eleven teams have been auctioned for Humhama Premier League (HPL) season-2 2018 to various sponsors.
HPL season-2 is organised by Humhama Youth Welfare Association. Eleven teams were auctioned on Sunday in an event held on 8 July at Grand Rayan Hotel Hyderpora.
A number of sponsors participated to buy a team for the event.
Team Almond was sold to Yousuf Brothers and Green Kashmir and it will be skippered by Manzoor Ahmad Ganai. Team Zojilla was sold to Legends of Star Cricket Club and will be skippered by Bilal Ahmed Dar. Team Chinar was sold to Bilal Sultan and will be skippered by Aijaz Ahmad Dar, Team Hariparbat went to Global Project Developers and will be skippered by Jamsheed Maqbool, Team Saffron was sold to Yousuf Brothers and Home Sense and will b skippered by Gulzar Ahmed Dar, Team Walnut was sold to Sarah Groups and will be skippered by Imtiyaz Ah Bhat.
Similarly, Team Himalaya has been sold to Global Project Developers and will be captained by Farooq Ahmed Shah while Team Zabarwan was sold to Kanwal Spices and will be led by Muhammad Aabid Khandey.
Team Wullar went to Bashahrat Bukhari and will be skippered by Rais Ahmed Dar while Team Apple was sold to Bismillah Iron Store and will be skippered by Showket Ahmed Bhat and Team Apricot was sold to Rashid Iron Store and will be skippered by Sheikh Hilal.
The league is likely to start soon. The league aims to engage youth in sports and hone their skills in the field. It also aims to keep the young generation away from drugs abuse.
The first season of the HPL was held last year and some six teams had participated in the league. This year total twelve teams will be taking part in the tournament.
