CM Omar assures time-bound action on public grievances

Jammu, April 17 : Chief Minister Omar Abdullah held a series of meetings here on Friday with legislators, delegations, and individuals, assuring them of time-bound redressal of their grievances.

MLA Abdul Majid Wani, along with former legislator Chaman Lal from Ramban, called on the Chief Minister and highlighted key developmental concerns pertaining to their respective constituencies.

A delegation from the Indian Institute of Architects, J&K Chapter, led by its Chairman Vikas Dubey, apprised Abdullah of issues arising from recent amendments to the Unified Building Bye-Laws.

Separately, a delegation led by Jammu University Teachers Association (JUTA) President Prof. Ravinder Singh presented matters concerning the teaching fraternity.

Several individuals also met the Chief Minister to seek resolution of their personal grievances.

The Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to all the delegations and individuals, and assured them that all genuine issues would be taken up for priority and time-bound redressal. (KNS)
