The ghost called infertility

Couples like us fall easy prey in hands of doctors and medical centres as they only know how to mint money while having no human values

A new life starts when you become a father and your spouse a mother, happiness has no limits. For some couples it takes years together to taste this blessing due to infertility. For me too it took nine years to achieve this happiness. Science through technology has achieved fates non-achievable. What matters are the hands using this technology and perhaps we technically are at losers end.

My journey of married life started in 2010 and after nine years of hardships my house turned a home as I was blessed by almighty with a baby. I left no stone unturned these nine years by consulting renowned doctors in and outside valley, number of procedures being done starting from follicular stimulation, HSG, laproscopy, open myomectomy, removal of tubal blocks and what not but everything was in vain. An IVF was also done but that too with negative results again because of weak hands that performed it.

Causes of infertility are many; but I am not here to discuss infertility and its causes but being one among the infertile couples I can feel the agony, difficulties or hardships some couples face.

At times very small things create wedges in this blessed relation, reason being infertility.

As it is an inherent wish of every couple to have their own one. IVF though seems to be a simple procedure when you read or listen about it but now I personally feel that this too needs good and technical hands and a strong know how about the whole procedure. Couples like us fall easy prey in the hands of number of doctors, and medical centres as they only know how to mint money while having no human values.

Last winter, I came to know about the Gaudium clinic at Karan Nagar, Srinagar and the doctor that runs it. After consultation with the doctor and the visiting patients at the clinic, I came to know about her success of the said clinic.

After much deliberations and discussions with my close ones, I decided to have my next IVF done at the centre, but in New Delhi because for the procedure one has to travel to the capital city of New Delhi for a few days, at the most ten days, as more than half of the procedure is done at Karan Nagar clinic.

I am neither the broker nor an agent of this centre but I truly want to aware people that the doctor and its success rate was around 60-70 percent. When I visited it in New Delhi, there were around six to seven patients from Kashmir. She and her team are very nice and you get that you are dealing with humans.

At last, I wish to tell everyone who is suffering from same things that without wasting your precious time meet the doctor and get your IVF done as soon as possible.

May Allah bless every infertile couple with babies and convert their miseries into happiness.
